Our Community Education & Training Hub
At Care Dog Academy, we believe that every dog owner deserves access to clear, compassionate and science-based education. Too many serious dog behaviour problems begin with simple misunderstandings between dogs and people. Our mission is to prevent these problems before they escalate by making high-quality dog education accessible to everyone. Our Community Education Hub provides practical knowledge, training, and guidance to help families raise confident, well-adjusted dogs while improving public safety and community wellbeing.
We aim to build a future where dogs are better understood, better trained, and safer members of society.

A Vision for the Future
Care Dog Academy is building toward a long-term vision:
A national network of community dog education centres across the country.
These centres will act as walk-in education hubs where dog owners can access free training guidance, behavioural support, and learning resources.
Each centre will be managed by experienced professional trainers who will:
• run the centre
• mentor and train new trainers
• supervise community training programmes
• ensure high standards of welfare and education
Our goal is to create sustainable centres that operate seven days a week, providing ongoing support for the public.

Building Safer Communities
When dog owners understand behaviour, welfare and training methods, everyone benefits.
Our work helps create:
• safer public spaces
• fewer dog bite incidents
• improved welfare for dogs
• stronger relationships between dogs and people
• healthier communities
Through education, compassion, and community engagement, Care Dog Academy aims to change the way society understands and trains dogs.

Our Training Model
Our goal is to make this education accessible to everyone, regardless of financial background.
To open and sustain these centres, funding will come from a combination of:
• sponsorships and or partnerships
• charitable grants and funding (Once registered)
• community support
• proceeds from educational resources and book releases connected to the Care Dog Academy mission.
Every contribution will help expand the reach of free dog education and bring new community hubs to life.
Free Public Dog Education
Our centres will offer free practical training sessions for the public, helping owners develop the skills they need to live safely and confidently with their dogs.
Training sessions will focus on everyday skills such as:
• reliable recall
• loose lead walking
• calm behaviour around people and other dogs
• impulse control
• understanding canine body language
• positive reinforcement training methods
By making this knowledge freely available, we aim to reduce dog bite incidents, prevent behavioural problems, and strengthen the bond between dogs and their owners. While aiding in saving the couuntry up to £71 Million per year during a cost of living crisis. We are in the age of infomation, and knowledge is power! We want you to have that power!

Walk-In Community Hubs
Care Dog Academy centres will operate as accessible community spaces.
Each centre will function as a walk-in hub open throughout the day, seven days a week, offering:
• free guidance for dog owners
• behavioural education
• community training sessions
• support for families and children learning safe dog interaction
• preventative behavioural advice
To ensure consistent availability, centres will operate on split shifts, allowing trainers to provide support from morning through evening.
This ensures the public always has somewhere to turn for trusted advice.
Funding the Vision

Each Care Dog Academy centre will follow a train-the-trainer model.
Professional trainers will be hired to:
• recruit a small number of trainees each year
• mentor and train them in dog behaviour, welfare and responsible ownership
• teach them the practical skills needed to educate the public
Once trained, these individuals will help deliver free community education sessions, all under the supervision and management of the centre’s lead trainers.
This model allows knowledge to spread rapidly while maintaining professional oversight and high training standards.
