Paws & Paths:
UK Walks by County
A-Z

Care Dog Academy is proud to bring you a comprehensive guide to dog walking locations across the UK. Whether you're exploring close to home or visiting somewhere new on holiday, this directory helps you discover great places to walk your dog and enjoy new adventures with your fluffy companion. We also encourage owners to be mindful of local dog walking laws and responsibilities, including keeping dogs under control and cleaning up after them, as failing to pick up dog waste can result in fines in many areas. Our goal is to help owners enjoy the countryside responsibly while keeping dogs, people, and communities safe. 🐕🌿

Walks, Welfare & Wellbeing:

Regular exercise is essential for a dog’s physical and mental health, but it’s important to walk them safely. Most dogs benefit from daily exercise suited to their age, breed, and fitness level. Avoid exercising dogs immediately after feeding, and always provide fresh water after walks. Allow them to drink calmly rather than gulping large amounts at once, as deep-chested breeds such as the Great Danes, Boxers, Standard Poodles etc, can be more prone to a serious condition called Gastric dilatation‑volvulus (sometimes known as twisted stomach), which can be life-threatening if it occurs.

All that aside, lets get into it!
